In 1988, FDS Industries began its activities at 2850 Hamel boulevard, in Quebec City.

Very quickly, the quality of its work won the confidence of important public transportation companies, insurance companies and government organizations. Over the years, a new clientele has joined the others: owners of up-scale recreational vehicles.

In 1996, FDS received ISO 9002 certification, given by the Canadian Standards Council and the American RAB.

In 1997, FDS acquired, in Montreal, the service division "Nova Centre" from the bus manufacturer Nova BUS.

In 2000, FDS acquired the charter transporter, Autocar 5 Seasons. Added to this acquisition were 15 new "H3-45" model Prevost Car coaches, along with coach rental permits.
